Key Stakeholders & Governance

GOVERNING COUNCIL/BOARD

The management is comprised of a governing body; ISMAT Governing Council (IGC) that includes the three Principal Investors and three ex-officio members appointed and agreed upon by each sitting investor for a total of six members. The governing body is responsible for the long term strategic planning but not for the day to day administration of the college. Duties therefore include but not limited to actively pursuing expansion plans, and fund raising activities on behalf of the college. 
In addition to ISMAT’s Governing Council is the Academic Board that is responsible for establishing academic policy; hence responsible for planning, coordinating, developing and overseeing the academic and professional work of the college. The Board comprises:

  • The Director of Academics (to serve as Chairman)
  • The Deputy Director of Academics
  • The Registrar (to serve as Secretary)
  • The Deputy Director of Students Affairs
  • Examination Officer
  • Heads of Departments
  • One representative from each department

Conversely the ISMAT College Board is charged with management of the day to day activities of the college. The leadership is comprised of the following members:

  1. Director of Finance
  2. Director of Administration
  3. Director of Academics
  4. Principal
